Channel II has a different character, with more upper-mid presence and higher gain, ranging from crunchy overdrive to dense, fuzzy distortion. Together, the two channels cover everything from lightly driven textures to heavily saturated rhythm and lead sounds.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach channel has independent Gain and Volume controls, making it easy to set up two contrasting sounds at matched or deliberately different levels. A passive 3-band EQ shapes the overall frequency response, while a side-mounted Tone Cut switch adapts the pedal for different setups. In the down position, it rolls off the top end and lowers the output level for running into the front of an amplifier. In the up position, it provides the full frequency range and maximum output level for driving an FX return, power amp, or cabinet simulator.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAn external switching jack (3.5 mm TRS) allows remote control of channel selection and bypass via an external switcher, making the SUNSTEAD easy to integrate into larger pedalboards and switching systems.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTwo vacuum tubes operate at full plate voltage, providing the natural compression and feel of a real tube amp. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePower is supplied by the included AC\/DC adapter or any 12V DC, 500 mA pedalboard power supply.
